War is a conflict between countries, groups, or religions, mostly with different motives for starting a war. Economics, resources, religions, territory, and other factors can be considered as causes.

War is an armed confrontation between two or more countries, mainly for economic reasons, but it can also be for religious or racist reasons.

In the case of territory (economic), these are invaded for the exploitation of natural resources, very rarely to expand urban areas.

Currently, in the Middle East, they are for religious reasons.

In the case of Russia and Ukraine, occupation of territory with natural resources.

Racist motives have occurred in Africa, between ethnic groups, with historical hatred, to exterminate the existence of the enemy.

How did war change your perspective of the world?

War has existed since the beginning of humanity. This activity has driven technological and scientific development and has induced people to prepare for combat and battles.

Personally, I was trained in the Navy and specialized in submarines, having participated in one of the conflicts with the neighboring country of Ecuador. By superior orders, we did not fight with the unit to which I was assigned, which had the mission of destroying port and energy facilities.

For many countries in current and future conflicts around the world, war is a reality that they must face and prepare to act when necessary, despite the atrocities that it brings with it due to human and economic losses that are never recovered.

Wars can be avoided and with that bring prosperity and stability to the world's population.

How do you think we can help peace and defeat war?

The path to help peace begins with the basic core of the human being "THE FAMILY", allowing adequate conditions to cover their development needs and concerns. With well-formed families, excessive ambitions that generate envy and hatred that drive unhealthy competition disappear.

With well-formed communities with families of deep-rooted moral principles that make up countries, wars are defeated.

How do you think peace can defeat war?

Education, culture, and art are the main tools to achieve peace, with moral and spiritual principles it is achieved and with it war is defeated.

If countries are made up of educated and cultured families and communities, ambition and greed among them do not exist and war is kept away.

How do you think peace and war relate to each other?

We must differentiate competition from war, being very close to each other, when the first intensifies vehemently it is close to war.

They are opposite but very close, the impetus to compete leads to confrontation and to the conflict that generates war.
