Especially for parents who need their children to go to school and get a home. It is an opportunity that should never be declined.

Against-
Mining for gold and oil needs a clear space of land, in which they must cut down trees. Cutting down trees is not the correct solution for getting money, for trees provide 30% of the world’s oxygen. The second reason for not cutting down trees is that we are destroying the homes of many endangered species and species soon to be discovered. As well as destroying the homes of local tribes, who will render homeless after it is destroyed

For: we should exploit the rainforest because it provides us with lots of natural resources, like palm oil, for reasons that include helping us in our everyday lives to, naturally, basic survival. Another reason we should continue to do so is because if we stop, millions of people will lose their jobs.

Against: we shouldn't exploit the rainforest because exploitation deliberately means taking total advantage over something, and to take advantage of, in specific, the rainforest means to cut down trees. And as the Amazon, quite literally, creates more than half the world's oxygen, our respiration would be more difficult. Also, most trees are being cut for cattle farming, which release greenhouse gases, which burn holes through the ozone layer. Oil spills that occur in the rainforest are also responsible for over 50,000 deaths of local Amerindian people who live there. These polluted waters also kill all the fish that are there, and most animals who drink it.

But also it supplies jobs for the poor and help them earn money. But also we need roads to drive on one is called the Trans-Amazonian Highway which is also helping with traveling.

Against: We should not exploit the rainforest because the rainforest takes up 40% of the worlds oxygen and if we cut down the trees we will release Carbon Dioxide into the air and will decrease the amount of homes for animals. I think we should not exploit the rainforest also because it is home to several million animals and some animals scientists haven't even discovered so they could even go exctinct before scientists have even discovered them. As well the rainforest helps maintain the water cycle and regulate our climate.
