A specialty of Lucita Preschool is that children are always told bilingual stories in both English and Vietnamese. Through repetition, the story gradually penetrates into young minds naturally. They immerse themselves in the story, become a part of it, and feel the subtleties. One story a week, the children remember the content and plot very quickly, and can help teacher Tomas follow the story.

This week, the children joined her in the kitchen to make "Salty cakes". From simple ingredients such as: glutinous rice flour, gac, ground meat, sprouts, etc. all the ingredients were carefully prepared by the teacher and the children. Everyone was eager to make their own beautiful and delicious cake stuffed with filling and sprinkled with sesame. The children looked forward to enjoying it right after making the finished product.

Music nourishes emotions and soul. Enjoying music is an indispensable activity at Lucita. Each music lesson brings to children with different emotions. The children are immersed in their own space with melodious music. This week, the children and the teacher learn to sing the song "Winter", “Warm hands” and "Mother Earth”. They learn about the Melodion with your teacher. The combination of mouth blowing and hands pressing the keys creates wonderful sounds.

At the beginning of each drama club, teacher John and the children perform the song "Dancing dancing all around" to help the children feel comfortable before taking on their characters. This week, children move on to the story "Little Red Riding Hood", they can communicate and express the character's personality through their body and face. The children's happiness, confidence and a bit of chatter make the story more lively.

Giữa lòng thủ đô Hà Nội, tại ngôi trường Lucita của chúng con có một vườn rau xanh mướt và sạch đẹp. Mỗi khi đặt chân lên khu vườn, cả cô và trò lớp Tulip đều rất thích thú và tích cực các hoạt động tưới nước, bắt bỏ ốc sên. Các con vừa học được cách lao động có ích, vừa được thưởng thức không khí mát mẻ và trong lành.

At our Lucita school, there is a beautiful, clean and green vegetable garden. Every time going to the garden, both teachers and students from Tulip class are very excited and actively involved in watering and catching snails. Children learn how to work usefully and enjoy cool and fresh air.

This week, Tulip children had a picnic at Nghia Do park. We were free to run and jump happily on the green grass. The children love to sit on swings, play slides, climb ropes, and especially enjoy the adventurous swing game with the help of teachers. With the beautiful weather, the children had a very fun and memorable picnic.

This Friday becomes special because Tulip students attend the 2023 Winter Festival event. They light candles, light to warm up and bring light to the winter. They also play tents together, wear pajamas and have a small party with corn and bake potatoes. So warm and meaningful!

At Lucita, in addition to learning math, languages ​​or crafts, children also learn practical skills such as buying and selling, learning to communicate through words, actions and gestures. Moreover, they learn how to ask for the price of the item you want, know how to calculate the price by adding and subtracting the amount of money you have, know how to bargain if you see that the item is selling for too high a price. The children are very actively participating in this activity and want to change roles from seller to buyer and vice versa.
