         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Each of the seven sacraments has many different symbols with many different meanings.<br>-A symbol is a concrete element indicating effectively an unseen and transcendent spiritual reality.  <br>-Something that reminds us of, and is able to put us in touch with an intangible but is still real.<br>-Symbols are revelations and speak to us.<br>-In the Church, many saints are represented by symbols that describe their significance to the Church. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-There are three sacraments of initiation: Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.<br>-These sacraments are important for us to become official members of the Catholic Church.<br>-Baptism is the sacrament of new life in God and of incorporation into the Church.<br>-Eucharist is the celebration of God's life in the Church.<br>-Confirmation is the affirmation of God's life.<br>-The Catechism of the Catholic Church says that the sacraments of initiation lay the foundations of every Christian life. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-The two sacraments of healing are Reconciliation and Anointing of the sick.<br>-Reconciliation is reconversion into God's life.<br>-It extends God's healing of our sins through the ministry of the Church.<br>-Anointing of the sick is healing by God's life.<br>-This sacrament offers spiritual healing for those who are ill.<br>-The Catechism of the Catholic Church says that Jesus has willed that his Church continues his healing and salvation through the sacraments of initiation.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-The Church is the visible sign of Jesus Christ who is the perfect sign of the Father's saving love.<br>-As the visible sign of Christ's presence in today's world, the Church has four distinguishing characteristics, or marks of the Church.<br>-The four marks of the Church are one, holy, catholic, and apostolic.<br>- This means the Church is a visible sign of oneness with God, holiness, catholicity, and apostolicity. <br>-The Catechism explains that only faith can recognize that the Church possesses these properties from her divine source.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-The communion of saints is of all the living faithful and all the deceased faithful, those being purified after death and those already in Heaven.<br>-The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that "the communion of saints is the Church."<br>-There are two meanings to this statement;  the first is everyone in the Church shares a communion in spiritual goods.<br>-The second meaning is that there is a communion of all holy people between the Church of Heaven and the Church of earth.</div>]]></description>
