Welcome to Primary School Đakovački Selci, a small and friendly school located in Selci Đakovački, near the town of Đakovo in eastern Croatia.

We are a school where tradition meets innovation. Although we are a relatively small school community, we believe that there are no limits to what our pupils can achieve. Our teachers are open to new ideas and constantly look for creative ways to make learning meaningful, engaging and connected to real life.

International collaboration is an important part of our school life. Our school has participated in numerous eTwinning projects covering topics such as culture, literature, STEM, environmental education, digital technologies, creativity and inclusion.

Sustainability and environmental awareness are also important to us. Our pupils participate in activities connected with recycling, composting, biodiversity, gardening and responsible use of natural resources. One of our newest initiatives is the creation of a Food Forest, an outdoor learning space designed to connect biodiversity, sustainability and hands-on learning.

For us, eTwinning is much more than a collection of projects. It is a way to open our classroom to Europe, learn from others, share our own ideas and help children understand that cooperation, friendship and learning can cross every border.
