They start to think stuff that they normally don't see is ugly. Kids think that light skin kids are pretty just because we show them that. Like with beauty pageants, that one beauty pageant with all the girls that looked the same. The blonds and light skinned girls. That is what we show kids, and that makes to believe that is what beauty is. I was shocked. How were these young kids already thinking about race this way? I started thinking of solutions like making mass media more welcoming  towards other skin colors. In this way children would not be exposed to these horrible stereotypes and we could keep racism to a minimum.
