The issue with this kind of print would be how to turn this into individual zine pages, because to take individual spot illustrations to each page would be to take away the lack of chronology - unless I was to repeat some and do a number of pages to continue this confusion. I also discovered that the things I did weren't necessarily conscious and that because of that I cannot necessarily be blamed for doing them. For example it talks about control - a point that I felt directly relates to me because quite often I will open my phone and see 888 messages from one group chat and 247 from another on WhatsApp, something that is obviously massively overwhelming. In this video Coach Corey explores the irresponsible narrative that 'everyone has the time to respond to texts' and that this is a high priority in everyones lives. 

Not responding to peoples texts -- although something I partake in way too frequently is not a behaviour I could make sense of or that I saw as acceptable until I had a conversation with one of my tutors (Esther McManus) about the exhaustive nature of the group chat.... something that just shouldn't exist. 

This expectancy for immediate repose is something that degrades the individuals life to only being on their phone and to always being readily available. Something that I find really interesting is how people understand the unrealistic nature of this in a physical expectancy - you can't go to A from G without prior notice. Yet they expect something somewhat synottomys to this - taking time out from any current undertaking or ask in order to respond to a message. Something that can interrupt your productivity and or flow state.

I laid out my pages on an A4 document and printed them to then be folded as a 10 page booklet. I lied the outcome of how all of the images appear together and how they follow on from one another I can't wait to see how this follows with textures and such in Riso.
