T: Great job, Jeyun! I like how you get students to self assess on their identified areas to work on as well as you giving feedback to check if they have self assessed 'correctly'. I also like how you encourage and engage students with the different types of stamps!

A: What is the follow-up after both students & teachers have identified their areas to work on? Is it through AfL quiz that you confirm that they have worked on the gaps?

G: As shared, great to get students to write/share how they plan to close the gaps so as to monitor their own learning.

Overall, great start to teach students to self assess esp for a p1 class!

I really like how you emphasize on the number bonds and apply it for every question so that the children are able to tell their "Part, Part, Whole" in their word problems

Really liked how you used C-P-A for the renaming of the addition and subtraction, so that the children can see why there is an extra 1 ten on top in the tens column when they rename:)

2) Ask me something about my GPS.

When you guide the children to write the total at the side or use their number bonds to see the part, how do you let them move on and do away with writing it when they add/subtract?

Really liked how the children explain in their own words to a classmate who missed the lesson. It showed us that they really understood the concept!

2) Ask me something about my GPS.

How about the children who struggles to write in words? How then can we really let them explain what they've learnt?:)
