to put it simply, Linux is an open source operating system. which means that is free for all to try it. 
so now you may be wandering "so what is the big deal with linux? i can use my computer with windows 10 installed t do exactly what i can do with linux!" well to prove you wrong, i have to ask you the question, "why would you have not researched?"
