*Syeda Maham*

Today, I learned about planet and satellites. Satellite is an object that moves around the planet. There are many types of satellite such as man made and natural. Man made satellite help us to study about earth, weather and locate areas with the help of maps and sending and receiving information by phone and tv. First satellite sent in space is sputnik. Biggest human made satellite is the international space station.

Planet move around the stars. They are round and big and they move around a fixed path called orbit.

[[ANABIYA AFTAB]]

Today, I learned about planets, satellites, stars, the Milky Way, galaxies, and Universe. There are many satellites man-made and natural some of the natural satellites are the Moon, Titan, and many more but the manmade satellites are Voyager, Maven and many more the first manmade satellite Sputnik, and the largest is the International Space Station satellite are used for cable on a tv and google map.

Planets orbit around the sun there are 9 planets in our solar system the biggest is Jupiter and the hottest also smallest is Mercury Saturn which has rings 8 of them are the main each is assigned in the alphabet the first three are called C, B, and A and Saturn has 146 moons people even call Saturn the King of the moons as it has the most moons in our solar system

As far as I have learned about planets and satelites I came to know at the are 9 planets in our galaxy, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. If we talk about satellites, satelites or artificial satelite is an object, typically a spacecraft placed into orbit around a celestial body. Satelites are used for diverse purposes such as weather forecasting, television signal, amateur radio, Internet communications and Global positioning system. Satelites travel at 18,000 miles per hours. There are 2500 satelites in orbit around the earth. Moon is a satellite because it orbits around the earth. Earth is also a satelite because it orbits around the sun. The planets are named by the Romans after there gods names. The word planet came from greek word planetes, which means wanderer.

The data that I have collected about satellites in the lesson is that there are two types of satellite. An artificial satellite and natural satellite, first we will talk a about the natural ones. As per them they are not created by human and they orbit every planet like moon , earth has one moon and Jupiter has 69 moons. I want to say about them is that every planet has their own satellites. Now it's time for the artificial ones. As per I know that artificial satellites are made by humans on earth, then they are send in the space for scientific researches. Today there are more than 2000 satellites in the space and they are used for different reasons like some are used to tell directions, some are used to take pictures of the earth and collect data about our home planet and then some satellites are used to send signals and that is all I know about satellites.

THANK YOU.

I understand that there are 8 planets in our galaxy ( milky way galaxy). Satellites are of 2 types artificial satellite and natural satellite. Artificial satellite includes of man made satellite and natural satellite includes moon. Planet orbit sun and satellite orbits planets. Satellites play an important role in our life because some T.V rays come from satellites . The biggest satellite in our space is international space station at one time only 6 people can stay on it, the size of international space station is equal to a football stadium. The word planet came from planetes a greek word.

A satellite is a moon, planet or machine that orbits a planet or star. For example, Earth is a satellite because it orbits the sun. Likewise, the moon is a satellite because it orbits Earth. Usually, the word “satellite” refers to a machine that is launched into space and moves around Earth or another body in space. The inventer of the first satellite called Sputnik is Sergei Korolev The first artificial satellite was Sputnik 1, launched by the Soviet Union on 4 October 1957 under the Sputnik program, with Sergei Korolev as chief designer.

Yuri Gagarin from the Soviet Union was the first human in space. His vehicle, Vostok 1 circled Earth at a speed of 27,400 kilometers per hour with the flight lasting 108 minutes. Vostok's reentry was controlled by a computer. Unlike the early US human spaceflight programs, Gagarin did not land inside of capsule.
