2. in predominantly black neighborhood more people are arrested then in the white neighbor hoods
3. public schools are well supported by bcps in predominantly white neighborhoods but in predominantly  black neighborhoods schools are frequently closed down and have low amounts off resources 
its crazy to me that even if once African American was spotted in a white neighbor hood that everyone would freakout and move.

I learned how to make it so you can set up your essay before you even write it so when you come to write it you don't have to flip threw so many pages and tabs you have it all in front of you. I learned that writing takes your own voice but also having other ideas and words from other people to back it up. I loved using google scholar I know that's something that I am going to continue using through all of my college years. this class made me excited to get essays and made me excited to write them I don't procrastinate as much when it comes to essays now. in high school I wish I would of learned these skills because writing would of been so much easier and so much more fun. thank you for teaching me and helping me through all of this class. and thank you for always answering my texts when it was late at night or even early in the morning to help me when I messed up. youve been hands down the best English teacher I've had and thank you for giving me all the resources to be successful in this class, in college, and life. these skills will carry over even when I'm outside of college! all together my favorite unit was this is America, I really learned how to use my own voice in an essay and still have ideas from others to back up what I needed.
