Collaboration was done between me and another teacher to a lesson based on Drugs to  form three class, which was engaging and informative to the students. This section also highlights my ability to adapt to the changing teaching and learning environment and the changes I had to undergo to adapt to remote teaching, and the efforts made to support my students and fellow colleagues during that time.

My initial philosophy of education and the teaching and learning process has changed since engaging in this course of study. This portfolio also provides an avenue for me to compare the changes in my attitude, pedagogical skills, and general educational philosophy. My intention upon completion of this course is to collaborate with my colleagues  to share my new knowledge, as well as learn from them as we continue to develop our pedagogical skills by sharing information.

Two principles of classroom assessment, validity and reliability were discussed in this section. These principles were selected because of its significance in ensuring that assessments are accurate, and the results gained from these assessments are sound and replicable, and provide accurate results The knowledge gained in this aspect of the portfolio has equipped me develop tests that take into consideration the different standard of assessment, giving a more realistic reflection of the students learning.

The use of technology is today’s society is rapidly growing, thus it is imperative that teachers incorporate it within the classroom. I have learnt how to better in cooperate technology as a teaching tool within my Physical Education class. I also learnt that technology, more specifically online games, can be used in the assessment of students. This artefact will show how I was able to include technology tools in my lessons and the easy and challenges I encountered during its in cooperation.

The following unit cover the topic of hockey, a component covered under the Ministry of Educations form 1-3 curriculum for Physical Education and Sport. The unit comprises of six field hockey lessons suitable for the mixed ability form two of learners at my school. The unit was designed to be progressive, while incorporating technology and various pedagogical strategies and assessment methods.
As a result of completing this section I have greatly improved my lesson planning skills, incorporating a more structured pedagogical approach, and becoming more deliberate in my questioning strategies. It showcases my ability to set achievable, yet, challenging and relevant goals, for my students which align with the curriculum goals
