Prophase (Mitosis Phase 1)

The chromosomes are condensing, meaning that they are easier to see. Also, the nuclear membrane starts to disappear

Metaphase (Mitosis Phase 2)

Anaphase

The spindle fibers split up the chromosomes turning them into chromatids. They are pulling the chromatids to opposite sides.

Telophase

The nuclear membrane starts to reform. Also, the cell starts to seperate, but that's for animal cells. Plant cells have a cell plate starting to form in the middle.

Cytokinesis

The cell pinches onto two identical daughter cells for animal cells. The plant cell starts to divide and the cell plate becomes the cell wall on the missing side. this is the process in the cell cycle.
