My name is Adrian Yagual and I am a senior majoring in psychology. I was born in March and have 6 pairs of shoes but I only really wear one, along with a pair of boots in the winter. I am the middle child with an older sister and a young brother. My family is from Ecuador but I was born and raised in New York. I have recently started to get into bird watching and bird feeding, and I also want to get more into reading. The last book I finished was Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel, which I really enjoyed as it has quite a unique take on a post-apocalyptic setting. My main fear is large insects/spiders and I'm also afraid of very large dogs. I grew up catholic but I'm not very religious anymore. I am done with my bachelors after this semester and would really like a break from school, so I plan on trying to find a somewhat decent job to save up some money for grad school in the future. I don't really have an all time favorite food, but right now I would really love some Peruvian Lomo saltado.

My hobbies include reading, which is usually related to neuroscience or psychology. I'm also a silversmith, so when I have free time and my creativity flows, I like to sit at my bench and create something new. I also have two dogs that occupy much of my free time and don't mind. :)

I fear small spaces that I can't get out of when I choose, such as elevators, subways, and airplanes. I know it's a bit complicated, as all of that is part of my daily life, but is life without a challenge? That is mine.

I was born in December in Los Angeles, California but moved to New York when I was 7 years old. My family is originally from the Philippines, but many relatives live all over the world. I was raised Catholic, but I'm personally more agnostic. I have maybe 4 pairs of sneakers and I'm an only child. I currently have 141 credits, which sounds like a lot but I had around 19 transfer credits coming in. After graduation, I plan to solo travel a bit then hopefully come back and work full-time as an engineer. After working for a bit, I may go to grad school. My fears are the end of the world and roaches. I love any sweet foods and dessert but my favorite dishes are fettucine alfredo and beef rice bowls. My name is Tenzin Wangmo but I go by Mae. I am Tibetan, Buddhist, an only child and am born in January. I have around 40 pairs of shoes, and around 10 sneakers because I think shoes make or break the outfit. I love fashion because of anime and I would like to learn how to sew one day. My favorite fashion brand is Liz Lisa and I am obsessed with sukapan skirts right now. I also love Hollister and Brandy Melville when I go shopping in person! Food wise, I love momos and yakiniku don but also anything healthy like salads, organic vegetables and fruits, and grilled meats. But I digress, I have 2 siblings, older and younger which pins me as the middle child, but that’s okay!! :) The sneaker community is big, and I have fallen vicim unfortunately… all I can say is that I have too many. I was born & raised in Rockaway Beach, also lived in Miami for a few years which was the best & eventually moved back here to New York. I'm from Lima, Peru. I moved to the US when I was 7 years old. Ever since coming to the US, I have lived in Queens. During my free time, I love going on walks, reading books, and going to concerts. My family moved to Long Island when I was in highschool and its sadly a 2 hour commute for me to school. My hobby is honestly shopping and brawl stars.

I am currently taking 15 credits this semester and have 96 credits in total. I have a fear of being abandoned and lonely. My plan after graduation is to have a job at a semi-major company being a data analyst. I still don't know if it will be in NYC or maybe another city. I'm hoping to move out after i graduate. My family is not religious so neither am I but we do believe in superstitions. I love all cuisines and eat a huge variety. One of my favorite dishes is pad see ew which is a thai dish.

I am the youngest to a family of three daughters. My eldest sister works for the district attorneys office and my second eldest sister is a police officer. Seems odd I am not steering in the similar direction as they went but that does not interest me. I enjoy cooking and making foods from all around the world but I embrace my culture very much. As a Greek America, I have consumed more Greek than “American” food. I put the quotations because American food is really just burgers and hotdogs, everything else stems from all around the world but is basically gentrified.

My name is Nina. My birthday is March 14th, on Pi Day. I have 4 pairs of sneakers. I am a middle child. I have one brother who is younger by 5 years. I have a sister who is older by 2 years. I was born in the United States, in Bronx, New York. I do enjoy going on long walks and cooking a good meal. I have 111 credits. I am extremely claustrophobic. After graduating I would like to pursue my masters in Mental Health Counseling and become a therapist. I am a Christian. I think a dish I would never get sick of is soup. I don't think I can ever turn down a bowl of soup.

A little about me.

• I was born in November on the year of the monkey. I have no clue whether the correlation is there yet I do love hiking and camping with a minor interest in learning to fish. I only have around 2 pairs of sneakers, 1 pair of safety sandals/water shoes and then another pair of "hard boots" which have been lost to the times because I really only wear my sneakers. I have a motto of "until it breaks" so I don't see much of a need expanding past 2 pairs of sneakers. I am an only child that was born right in Manhattan of New York City (NYC) and have lived here for my whole life. I was lucky to have amazing friends that I can chat with and look forward to near my area and two train transfers away. Besides all the slight outdoorsy hobbies mentioned earlier, just like a lot of people I also play games online as it's easy to coordinate and talk with friends or people you want to get to know better through easy, understandable outlets. In my case I love games such as Diablo, Terraria, Pokemon and currently just tried out Abiotic Factor which is interesting as well. I believe I have a fear of what I don not know which in retrospect isn't exactly a fear but it plays into a lot of different factors such as venomous vs non-venomous insects. I fear sometimes that I may one day encounter a certain breed that is highly deadly yet I would fail to recognize it and not ascertain the situation properly which has potential to leave a very undesirable ending. I am halfway through my bachelor's in pre-req's alone as I do not consider my current credits from my Major due to my plans on switching soon. When it comes to graduation though, in a couple years from now, I do not know what I'd want to do besides work. Maybe I would go up to the Catskills or drive to Maine, somewhere close-by at first in case that homesick feeling ever comes, and then I'd inch out ever so slowly. I think places with lots of seafood would do me well as I love lobster, pasta or shrimp with the basic foods like chicken or beef on my love platter but it doesn't have the same vibe. In terms of religion I feel like I'm an interesting mix and can't fully explain it yet I am both a Christian and Atheist due to my parents. I could probably write about most of how that works yet I don't want to dig into to much of everyone's time as I saw other posts keeping it short and concise while I have the habit of overexplaining or rambling on. My plan after graduation is to go to City Tech and major in Chemistry, to hopefully go to Pharmacy School. My religion is Catholic. My favorite food is Hispanic food specifically Ecuadorian food.

I’m originally from a South Asian country, so food and culture are very important parts of my life. I especially love eating spicy food—it reminds me of home—and I also enjoy experimenting with new recipes whenever I get the chance. I’m looking forward to learning from this class and getting to know all of you.

My name is Ania Anis, and I am a senior majoring in human biology. I have been working as a dental assistant for about 2-3 years now. I hope to go to dental school after undergrad.

I was born in May, which is perfect because I LOVE the springtime. I have about 3 pairs of sneakers and probably 15 pairs of heels. I love heels, and I feel like a girl can never go wrong with some kitten heels. It sucks because I am a new yorker and I walk everywhere, so 6 out of 7 days of the week I do have to wear sneakers.

I am the oldest out of 4 kids. I have 2 younger sisters and a younger brother.

I am ethnically Pakistani and was raised in NYC; however, when I was a junior in high school, my parents bought a house in New Jersey, and since then, my younger siblings have been growing up in New Jersey

I love to bake and or try random recipes in the kitchen, im also a clean freak, so I do spend most of my free time cleaning some part of the house.

I fear losing people. My family is what I hold dearest to me, and without them, I would be the saddest person ever.

I am a Muslim, I love celebrating muslim holidays, and Ramadan is my favorite part of the year. I love lasagna and squash soup.
