I disagree with this statement because wisdom can be found in other things such as everyday life and many wise people are not religious but wisdom can also be found in experience and experience is in religion. I agree with Chloe when she says that many intelligent people have not gained their wisdom from religion because many wise people have different opinions on religion yet lots of people have the same knowledge and opinion on other things. I have also noticed that many wise people (i.e scientists) believe in the Big Bang theory and don't agree with religion at all. Wisdom can be found everywhere and is in everything we do. It just goes to show that we do need religion to gain wisdom, but we can gain wisdom without it. I am not saying we should not have religions for I believe religions are one of the most important things in the world but other things can replace the wisdom we get from it.

Therefore, I disagree with this statement for it is saying only one thing can give us wisdom but many things can give it to us.

I disagree with this, because true wisdom can be found in/through everyone and everything. For example; if an old man was to be injured by a drunk driver, the old man may not have been religious but still wise if he was to forgive this man for his accident and go-on living his life peacefully not looking for any revenge and not suffering from hatred of another. He would be living a life in serenity...that's wise.

How about if someone said that the books and films etc all got their wisdom from religions originally- because that is where all our ideas come from
