My name is Julia and I'm a preschool special education teacher. CCR connects to the work I'm doing because I didn't know how to zoom out or take a birds eye view of education to know what's important to focus on regarding teaching and learning.

My name is Shannon and I am a 1st grade special education educator. The College and Career Readiness Framework connected to me and my work, especially in the areas of rigor and advocating for students. It seems that sometimes there is a tendency in Special Education to think that the students dont need to work as hard, do as much, or achieve to the same extent. The opposite is true, and allowing access to rigorous academic teaching and insisting on rigor is so important for the success of our special education students.
