For me I learn a new language better when I listen to songs. For instance if I’m learning french, it is best for me to listen to french music.

To learn a new language, I like to start by learning basic words and phrases. I use an app called Duolingo to practice and listen on how the language sounds. Watching movies or shows in the language with subtitles helps me understand how words are used in real life. The more I practice and use the language, the better I get at it.

As someone who is required to learn another language as a future language teacher, I must say that it is far more difficult than I expected. Actually, even mastering the complexities of my own language is already challenging, and acquiring another one adds even more difficulty due to differences in vocabulary, structure, and pronunciation. While watching tons of Eastern and Western shows can help, truly learning a language requires immense effort, patience, and consistent practice. However, despite these challenges, I believe that with dedication and perseverance, mastering a new language is possible and rewarding.

One of my strategies for learning another language is utilizing a digital application that caters to my own learning style. This digital application is known as Duolingo. So, rather than hiring a personal tutor, which costs money, using this tool is very efficient and, at the same time, it costs nothing. Through Doulingo, I am learning a language at my own pace. From the basics, it starts word by word, then gradually, the difficulty level elevates. Also, it teaches me how to pronounce the words and use them in sentences–and actual conversations. Aside from Duolingo, I also learn a language through watching movies with subtitles, such as K-dramas. There are many ways to learn a language.
