         <description><![CDATA[<div>Virginia wanted more power because there state was bigger. New jersey wanted all states to be equal because they did not see the image where population mastered. The great compromise was small states would have equal power when determining representatives in congress.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>slave owners wanted them to count for the state population but not for taxes because it made there congress bigger. The north wanted the slaves to count for taxes but not representatives. The compromise was that slaves counted for only 3 slaves out of 5.</div>]]></description>
