Cheryl Tunt's Gender Role

She doesn’t fit into any of the gender roles. She doesn’t act like a normal confined citizen in society considering she is psychotic. Her character is depicted as very unique and stands out in the crowd of formal, typical female characters. However her figure and physical physeek is very sexual, which is often glorified in Hollywood towards female depiction.

Cheryl has changed overtime as she used to take orders and follow them, but she later goes against her male counterparts, who always tells her what to do, as she no longer listens to them and does her own thing. When she took on the persona of Cherlene, she wouldn’t let anyone stand in her way and became an empowering female character in the show. She starts to gain more respect from others because she won’t listen or do anything for someone unless they respect her.
