         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>What are the strategies Identified in the LEA CSI prompt responses? </strong><br><br><em>Response: Create needs assessment surveys to be completed by the students and community stakeholders.  Use Bi-weekly PLC meetings to discuss student data (credits earned, socio-emotional) and systems of support. Monitor student progress on an individual basis on credits earned per month.<br></em><br><strong>What are key takeaways from the CSI prompt responses? </strong><br><br><em>Response: Information needs to be shared with staff and community stakeholders. The goal has been defined as ECHS needs to hit a 67% graduation rate for the class of '21. We need to address the needs of all student subgroups.<br></em><br><strong>What lingering questions might there be? <br><br></strong><em>Response: Where do we stand now? When will the state release graduation rates for the 19-20 school year?</em></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Event: Graduation rate fell to 44% for the 18-19 school year.<br><br></strong><em>Response: El Camino needs to increase the graduation rate up to 67% on average over a two year period.</em><strong><br></strong><br><strong>Patterns Identified<br><br></strong><em>Response:The graduation rate for the 18-19 school year is an outlier.  The previous year saw a graduation rate of 89%.  The rates through the past 5 years have been in the 60-70% range. </em><br><br><strong>Mental Models<br><br></strong><em>Response: El Camino staff understands that the socio-emotional status and welfare of the whole-child is paramount to achieving academic success. <br><br></em><strong>Artifacts<br></strong><em><br>Response: NLMUSD has provided several professional development sessions based on SEL. The district has created a Virtual Calming room for students, staff, and parents to access at anytime. District has provided a Mental Health intern to support each site and Academic Counselor. </em><br><br></div>]]></description>

Decide on when the team meet again to continue this work at District/School site.<br>The El Camino team will meet on 3/1 at 2:45 to discuss the items presented at the meeting on 2/18.<br></strong><br>2. <strong>Decide who else needs to be part of this from the District/school.<br>The team includes the entire staff through bi-weekly PLC meetings.  SLT leads inform the staff and gather input during the meetings to help guide the site through the process.<br><br></strong><br>3. <strong>Discuss:  Would you like LACOE support to assist in district/school meetings to provide support between sessions?  If so, sign up using the input form on the last slide of this presentation.<br>At this point, we are fine working out the details on our own.<br></strong><br>4. <strong>Write down the meeting time/date the padlet for your school site or LEA.<br>The meeting time is at 2:45 on Monday, March 1.<br></strong><br><br></div>]]></description>
