When we heard we were going to have a mascot we all thought of the most friendly and adorable animal we could think of. None other than the kiwi bird. We also thought about incorporating the kiwi fruit as well.

One of the pros from universal healthcare is that it is used by multiple people to get protected and safe, and the government is working to expand the system to protect everyone.
A pro of universal healthcare is that if we were to have another pandemic like covid-19 we would be able to better handle it, and we would have less deaths.
Another Pro is that we could save about 68,000 people every year.
Another Pro is that more people would be able to receive the healthcare, and not have to worry about fees.
The child mortality rate will lower.
The life expectancy of people would go up.
The civilians will save money.
The government would save money.
There would be less people in debt, because medical debt is the number one reason people file for bankruptcy.
It can also lead to lower depression rates.
People would be able to get the medicine they need.

A con for healthcare is that there will be more waiting time for basic care
Another con of healthcare is that we already have laws in act to make healthcare affordable, if we make it free then there would be less money for other things.
The healthcare will also be worse
Less options for healthcare
It can make medical innovations slower and less often
It would be a big risk, and could cost the government 30 trillion dollars to get started
Could raise taxes
Could lead to not enough medical supplies
Some people may be unable to recieve the health care they need when they need it.
There would be less money for other government funded things.

The reason why you should vote yes on universal healthcare as a law we agree with and think it is beneficial is because it could help people stay more healthier and stay safe from injuries and health issues. It could also help many people who can’t afford it now. If it was free many people who can’t get the healthcare they need would be able to get it. It would also get rid of a great amount of debt that U.S. citizens have.

Students might argue about our law and disagree with our law or simply just not like our law maybe because of our slideshow. The one reason why students might not like our law is because they think it is boring and prefer having to hear about a more interesting law, students probably haven’t heard about universal health care. Another reason why people might not like our law is because they might not like how we put it on our slides and website, basically how we organized the information. The third reason why students might not like our law is because it is too original/basic and they won’t want to hear about healthcare.The fourth reason why students might not like our group’s law is because they won’t care about healthcare at that age and because our law won’t seem reasonable to them. Lastly, our fifth reason on why students won’t agree with our group law is because again they might believe that it won’t be interesting and or they might not think it is entertaining and that we just went to their classroom to bother them and interrupt their class.
