the holocaust was state-sponsored, systematic persecution and annihilation of European Jewry by Nazi Germany and its collaborators, between 1933 and 1945.
why did Hitler actually take over Europe? If he was really that close how come he didn't do it?

I learned that the Nazis killed every 2 out of 3 jews, and the Soviet Union was originally on the same side as Germany.

1- the Germans felt threatened by the Jews because they thought the Jews were inferior to the German race.

What did you learn? Germany took over most of Europe. The Soviet Union was different from Germany and was not the same. They murdered people with carbon monoxide (or dioxide?)
How did the Soviet Union overtake Germany when so much of it was under Germany's control? How did Germany grow to have so much power? Could the surrounding countries not form an alliance to take down Germany or to fight back?
