    1. Social capital: I have a big network of colleagues and friends whom I can rely on for career advice or support with challenges that I face in my classroom.

    2. Navigational capital: As an international students, I had to be very strategic in figuring out how to apply for assistantships to finance my education, enroll in courses, and meet the university requirements which is a lot different from what I am used to.
