Our one impression of Suno is that he is disrespectful toward s his mother. The evidence " the voice wheedles its way into my ear like a worm.I shudder." This shows that he does not respect his mother because his mother had to tell him multiple times to drink his milk but he only drank it after multiple reminders. But not only did he ignore his mother's words, he was ungrateful and felt that his mother was annoying. An example "thundering whisper" it give u the tone of the words, in this example, it is ironic because poetry is usually calm but the boy reads it in a more frightening tone which can be inferred thru "thundering". by the use of oxymoron it helps to identify that it is ironic thru stating the boy's tone.
