When I realized it was so thin, I had to cut it a second time to make it a little thicker. I tried using hot glue and tape to see which would work best. I also think you did well in putting it together! I wanted to know if you purposely added the black lines to make it stick out more or if it just happened? Creating a jellyfish was a great idea for this project, since I think the plastic material really mimics the look of a real jellyfish. Plus, you can connect it to plastic polluting the oceans. I think you could add some thin strips of plastic (not inflated) to the bottom to create more tentacles. If you add a slight breeze to them, it would probably look like it was swimming, which would make for a cool video. Adding some kind of colored light inside or behind it would also be super cool, and would re-create the glowing effect from your reference photo.
