Visuals are important cause it the first thing we see or analyze before getting to know someone or somethings. But those Visuals can be effected due to mental health or how you treat yourself and others.

While I already knew that perspective can vary, I was surprised at the amount that it could vary. As an example, during the first part of the video there was a display of a person and the speaker asked the viewers to define what emotion they thought was on the person's face. I didn't know that the answers could vary that much, and that an expression as different as hope or discomfort could be seen in the same exact image. Therefore, the amount of variation between perspective surprised me.

I agree with the speaker's suggestion that motivation can help unfit people feel that exercise is manageable. This is because, as suggested in the video, motivation can help people feel that the goal is more in sight. If a person has an idea of how far away they are from their goal, they'd be more motivated to close the gap and reach it. Therefore, I agree with the speaker's suggestion that motivation can help unfit people feel that exercise is manageable.

This shows that we might not see entirely different but through our perspective we view things through what our mind sees and experienced.

I also think everyone's perspective is different depending on what they are thinking. For example if we are having a election on picking a mayor, everyone would pick their own choice depending on their perspective. This is why I think everyone's perspective is different depending on what they are thinking.

In my opinion her arguments and points were very plausible and she brought up some very good points to prove how motivation and overall fitness can effect someones desire to exercise. This talk has changed my perspective since it taught me to keep my eyes on the prize and not get distracted during workouts which is something I struggle with at times and I think i'm gonna use this strategy in the future. In my cases, an effective prize for me would be the satisfaction of finally finishing an exercise and being able to relax and recover.

I think that effective prize that can motivate me to exercise is I can get in better shape and a lot of things can be easier. For example, if I exercise, I can run to the bus stop faster so I don't miss the bus. My perspective has changed because whenever I exercise, I don't really want to do it anymore after i'm done, but I know it's good for me so I do it anyways. This makes me end up very tired after. I think that it would be better if I focus on the benefits of exercising.

I'm not too sure what an effective "prize" to motivate me to exercise would be, but it'd probably be along the lines of the ability to be more athletic. My initial perspective hasn't changed watching this video.

My overall reaction to the TED talk is that the way we view things is through our eyes and by having motivation to do something we can gain the ability to see things as easier/different. An effective prize to motivate me to exercise is thinking about what happens when I get to the finish line which are all the benefits of becoming fit. My perspective changed after listening to this talk because I learned that by viewing the finish line differently you are more motivated to exercise.
