For example, Rick Wormeli's video on formative and summative assessment talks about the use of summative assessment, but reminds us that summative assessments can be, and should be, formative based on student performance. Technology has the power to support students access learning and assessment in a variety of ways to support our ultimate goal, student learning and success.
