I did not understand when Maruge did not want to talk with the teacher after the incident in the class. There are many people who reminds me Maruge for example everyone in this class because everyone want  to study and are working hard. Probably she will be in trouble but it is for a good reason. I think at the end the superintendent will understand that education is a right for everybody. Because I saw a lot of violence and abuse against Maruge, and his family, and to the people from the Village of Mau Mau. 
2-  Why the people from Mau Mau let the soldiers treated them like that, specially abused and mistreated the woman and kids.
