Washes up onto the island, drunk, after Miranda and Prospero get to the magical island. 

He himself was also on a ship with his son Ferdinand, his brother Sebastian, and Prospero's brother Antonio. Later Prospero attempts to murder them with a storm. Alonso believes Ferdinand is dead. This causes much to happen and leads to Stephano landing on a beach (drunk) and gaining a new master. Along with that, two of his servants get stuck with him (Stephano and Trinculo). Ariel gets Ferdinand to make their way to Miranda and Prospero is mad that they hit it off?

He was asking interesting questions that are typically not asked when you first meet someone.
Don´t know each other's character, beauty goes further than the skin.
When Prospero discovers that he is the son of Alonso- this could lead to some troubles. Especially because Alonso is the reason Prospero and Miranda are shipwrecked in the first place.
It is also possible that Ferdinand will discover that it is because of Prospero that they are shipped wrecked. This could create a rocky relationship between Prospero and Ferdinand.
Prospero doesn´t want his daughter to get hurt like she did with Caliban

Since Prospero knows about his wreck, he talks to her about it.

Miranda bases Ferdinand's character on his looks and Proserpo feels as though he is going to lose the little power he has on the island.
Love at first sight? she likes him and wants to defend him in front of her father. Because this is the third man she has every seen and she wants a husband.

The level of freedom they are given is in completely different ways

Ariel owes him and has an end goal is freedom. Whereas Caliban could be Prospero forever and there is no one coming to save him from Prospero.

Prospero is very manipulative, and has the magic to fix his problems- learned magic through the books he read? was he given it by ariel? He only spent time in books rather ruling the people.

They look for Ferdinand for he is the eir of  Naples.

Iris calls cere and cere calls Juno and they sing a song of blessing for the marriage. 
Stephano and Trinculo get mad at Caliban(who tries to warn them for the things to come.) for takings so long. And they steal some clothes and Prospero tries to scare them with dogs and they run away.

5: Prospero sends Ariel to fetch them so he can restore the minds.
Prospero gathers the group with Alonso and tells him who he is and Alonso is surprised he is alive after so long. Prospero recognizes Gonzolo for his honor and thanks to him for everything he's done ¨I will pay thy graces¨(Act 5).
And reprimands his brother for all he has done while still under the spell. But he forgives him for what Antonio did. 
Once they wake there are all surprised to see him alive- or to see a person at all. Alonso doesn´t believe them at first and blames Antonio for tricking him to send Prospero away.  He welcomes all of them. Sebastian goes off because Prospero calls him a traitor. Also, Prospero goes off on Antonio and then forgives him. 
Alonso asks for proof that he is Prospero. then brings up Ferdinand.
when Prospero says he lost his daughter, I believe that he is referring to marriage and not dead. 
Ferdinand and Alonso reunite  and embrace and He tells him that he is married to Miranda
Miranda rejoices for humankind and Ferdinand has to explain how she is mortal.  
The men bless the marriage
Also, they are found and Trinculo and Stephano are also found and represented for being drunk. Caliban is called out for who is he and Prospero tells them who he is.  Then Prospero gives him a gift and he leaves. and now he gets the island- exits stage left.  
Alonso wants to know everything about his experience, and tell Antonio what he will do when they get home. 
Prospero sets ariel free. and says farewell to the island.
