This is not because of what happened, but because of what happened over time. Terrorism is the act of striking terror in the hearts of people to rule over them. The police officers that kill innocent people are the definitions of terrorists. Not all police officers are terrible and "terrorists", but the one's that kill for fun, because they  are black, are. The police are suppose to "protect & serve". Alton Sterling was the 558th person to be killed this year by police ( all cultures included ). I do not believe that the police and African Americans will ever be compatible. Police are showing us that even when we attempt to listen to their directions, we still end up shot down and killed. A man (African American) got shot today because he was locked out his car and the police assumed he was trying to rob it. It was his 20th birthday today and he was shot down and killed. In 2016, there are no solutions for the police departments because eventually, African Americans are going to retaliate and use violence to attempt to make it better. It's just going to make it worse because if we are getting killed doing the right thing, we may as well die for freedom. All this is going to do is take more of all our loved ones away and the black population die out. Maybe, that is the objective. So how are we really suppose to be the land of the free? Skin tone and looks should not be judged racially.  However, I believe that we can build trust by forgetting about the racism and hate about us. Everyone is equal, no matter what. Greed and desire are the main reasons that hate exists in this world. We, I guess, could maybe trust them if they had lighter weapons. I don't mean in weight, I mean in level of danger. If they held at least takers or whatever instead of guns, I believe that it may be trustworthy. Police officers have been so brutal to African Americans our whole lifetime that there could never be trust. Yes, African Americans could start to believe that there would be change but , I don't think we could ever trust police officers. Police officers never hesitate or hold back to pull the trigger on us , beat us and more. But, African Americans need to stop having a certain mentality and start doing better because we already know that if we talk , look ,or act a certain way people get assumptions . No , we don't need to change the way we are but we need to stop doing the things and acting in certain ways that people think are threatening. Everybody just needs to change things and think about what they do. Police take an oath to protect our citizens and also, if there are police working in a community where there are African Americans and that police is prejudice, then they should take their uniforms off. That's already starting off wrong by working there . Why , work there if you don't "like" the people that live there.

That's like saying there's a 50/50 chance of you dying when you get in trouble with the teacher. Why is it that a man got shot when police believed he was trying to break into a car, when actually he was locked out of his car.
