         <description><![CDATA[<div>DANIELA HERNANDEZ.<br><br><strong>The theory that I will use is</strong> Pragmatics. <strong>It was developed by</strong> William James, <strong>and it was used to study</strong> the way in which context influences the interpretation of meaning; tends to define that an action motivates a change in reality as it moves physical things that compose it and that more than attending to the ideas of people only matter their actions, which ultimately can be evaluated scientifically. So this current is directed towards the communication of everyday life. <strong>This theory indicates tha</strong>t pragmatism provides a new logic of meaning. The function of thought must be to impose a rule of action, a habit of behavior, a shared belief or worldview. In general terms, the starting points of Pragmatism can be listed in the following ideas:</div><div>a. There is no truth, but each human being has it for himself, which allows him to solve his problems.</div><div>b. It does not understand by practical utility the confirmation of objective truth through the criterion of praxis, but that which satisfies the subjective interests of individuals.</div><div>c. The subject-object division is established only within the frames of experience, so that knowledge is a set of subjective truths.</div><div>d. The human being is capable of orienting his activity according to ends that have been, to a certain extent, created or decided by him individually or collectively.</div><div>e. Knowledge itself is a type of activity. The capacity to act reflexively and intellectually is exclusive of the human being.</div><div>f. The actions and ends constitute the axis on which the interpretive activity is based.</div><div>g. The process of knowledge is linked to what man does, but at the same time it influences what man can or wants to do.</div><div>h. The characteristic of Pragmatism is not to subordinate thought to action, but to redefine the expression of thought itself in theories that try to unravel reality.</div><div>i. Science is based on the unconditional search for increasingly correct theories. Science maintains an indirect relation with respect to action.</div><div>j. The proof of the truth of a proposition is its practical utility. The purpose of thought is to guide action, and the effect of an idea is more important than its origin.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>KALJEINZ SOTO<br><br>That theory that I will use is Psychometrics. It was developed by Mark Wilson y Perman Gochyyev, and it was used to study the measurement of educational and psychological characteristics such as abilities, aptitudes, achievement, personality traits and knowledge. This theory indicates that psychometrics has been mostly associated with intelligence testing and achievement testing. In the psychometrics deals much of the work with measurement of latent or unobserved traits and abilities. To understand the way to apply the psychometric in educative context, Wilson (2005) sustain that is necessary a full-cycle production, which included four building blocks: the construct map, the items design, the outcome space and the measurement model. It provides and explicit guiding framework for the researcher wishing to apply psychometric ideas in assessment. A<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> <strong>As applied to my topic, this theory holds that I would expect my independent variable (s) to</strong> assume that both the communicative function and the cognitive representation function are two functions of language between which both participate in human communication through languages, that is, as cognitive and interactive functions simultaneously. that the human communication process implies having a capacity to perform behaviors that are intentional and significant at the same time, allowing the interaction between two or more subjects in a given situational context.<br><br></div><div><strong>To influence or explain the variable</strong> (s), the authors of this approach consider that gender is a useful instrument for the analysis of the spoken and written language in the academic and professional field and for its teaching to speakers not native <strong>Because</strong> the linguist must not only study the formal or structural characteristics of the genres, but above all the context in which they are and this is only possible from a pragmatic point of view. Any type of communicative interaction, including written texts, can be studied from the point of view of pragmatics. Speech is the ability of a speaker to construct larger units of meaning or thought; Writing well, either L1 or L2, is found in the product of discourse that arises from the knowledge of culture and the rhetorical characteristics of specific genres.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As applied to my study, this theory holds that I would expect my independent variables, how the use of the materials and pedagogical resources benefit the process of learning, it would be according to the quantity of materials depend numbers students per class or the effect to use it to influence or explain the dependent variables, create pedagogical resources to students in elementary according to the age of students or the particular necessity of them because the learning process isn’t only to transmit information or knowledge, it is a process, for that reason, it need to include some resources to achieve the educative main. The psychometrics expect to generate information to the solutions the case or problem, it takes as references the data mining from the measurer. Also, the psychometrics is based in the construct modeling, it permits to understand in some ways the structure of the process. </div>]]></description>
