When Anne was 13 her parents got her a diary to write in. She loved it so much! Every day she wrote wrote in it. When she went into hiding she wrote in her diary most of the day and because she couldn't make noise she took her anger out on her diary. Everything she saw and loved went in her diary. When she died her diary was published by her dad.

Anne Frank and her family had to live in hiding(Secret Annex) during the war because they were Jewish and they didn't want to be sent away to concentration camp.

Anne Frank did not have many accomplishments in her life. She had a very hard and rough life during the last years of her life. But there is one huge achievement, not dying in hiding. Anne could have very easily died with little food, clothes and shelter.

During the War Anne heard that a man named Gerrit Bolkstein, wanted to publish diaries of people in the war after the war was over. Anne wanted to do it so she wrote her diary again this time more organized and neater (but she didn't change much of the words). The Secret Annex where Anne, her family, and other people lived was the top floor of Anne's dads old factory. They had to keep the windows closed, they couldn't make any noise or wear shoes because the workers might hear the noise and get caught. She was only a tad before 16 when she died.
