Workplace ethics, marketing ethics ,production ethics and consumer ethics have discussed in the text. The company violated all of these ethics in the text.
-To create awareness about how "legal" companies work and disobey all the rules of production. Now we are all aware of what should an ethic company be like when we consume something it will definitely going to make a difference.
Cheap Milk and Supermarket Ethics
-1.Walker(2011)is optimistic about future because companies unethical behaviors are changing over time. Compaies like GAP and 1-800-flowers havemade a great step and a great referance fot other companies.
Wht Business Ethics
1. Hooker(2003) states that the aim of ethics supposed to be to make the world a better place not to make profit fot the companies.
2.Hooker(2011) completely disagree with Friedman's article. The reason he refers Friedmens article is to show us better the facts of being unethical company and he also disagrees about Friedman's both ideas because business managers and owners should work together to take the social responsibilities and they have to do it for the sake of doing good.
3. I agree with Hooker(2011) regarding the study of business ethics but there are some parts that I don't agree if I were a business owner. When you ran a business all the thing you are going to focus will be earning money and more money to make a good profit so if we blame managers or owners for not taking social resposibilities it is not right. Everyone should make their jobs and just focus on their jobs while they are working but I got a idea about how we can convert social resposibilities to businesses is a government support. Government can support firms by decreasing the tax amounts by the amount they have spend on social responsibility projects.

Ethical business decision means increasing your profit regardless your responsibilities to environment or other people, as long as it is not a crime. The most valuable thing in business world is money, so the decision making is done according to where money is. Despite companies have an ultimate goal of making money, they should oversee the improvement of mankind.
2-The author refers to Friedman's article to strengthen his own ideas, he completely disagrees with Friedman.
3-I agree with the author, managers should be more aware of the business ethics and individual ethics. Companies can also make profit by caring the workers and environmental aspects. However in long term if workers and environment is not overseen it could harm the future of humanity.
