The Little Rock 9 and desegregation for example. I wonder about a small article/blog entry on the importance of acknowledging partial victories as we continue to struggle for full freedom, inclusion, and justice in many scenarios. This could tie into: Nelson Mandela's election and Brown v. Board for example. But could also relate to the anniversaries of exclusion and injustice (Chinese exclusion, Indian Removal, Tulsa Massacre, etc.) that we see in the month of May, and the ways that we are still fighting those battles today.
