Being aware of your company's code of ethics is very important. After being educated about how much ethics ties into management, I am very careful and take serious consideration to ethics in the workplace when making big decisions, dealing with difficult people or situations, keeping discretion and privacy with certain things, and being honest and trustworthy to set a good example for my team.

Most people think that this is only a concern at the executive level. I believe that sustainability is a concern at every level. I am now consistently thinking of ways to make things effective and efficient to contribute to the sustainability of my company. As the article states, it starts with principles of sustainability: Understand its importance, Set goals and priorities, and be accountable.

Diversity is being given the emphasis it deserves more and more each day. In the workplace and through the readings I have come to understand more and more the need for and importance of diversity in the workplace. No two people are the same and we are all capable of setting aside our differences in order to work toward a common goal. Not only should we be able to look past our differences, but we should be able to use those differences to help eachother in our everyday projects. I am trying to actively put this in place each day at work by embracing our differences and using them to gain ideas and insights to work towards a goal.
