         <title>What are Tsunamis?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A Tsunami is a Japanese word for tidal wave or o big wave in the port that is originated by fishermen wherein their villages had been devastated by a giant wave even if they had not seen any waves in the open sea. Tsunamis are generated when the ocean floor abruptly deforms and vertically displaces the overlaying water, which is caused by an earthquake. Not all earthquakes can produce a tsunami, wherein we have 3 events that tells us if it is enough to generate a tsunami:<br><br></div><ol><li>A <strong>Magnitude 7 </strong><em>Earthquake on the Richter Scale&nbsp;</em></li><li><em>Seabed </em>must be<strong> lifted or lowered </strong>after the earthquake's occurrence&nbsp;</li><li><em>Epicenter</em> must be <strong>near to Earth's Surface&nbsp;</strong></li></ol>]]></description>
