This is class I took in college as an elective. I found it very interesting even though it is not a class on education I found it very helpful with learning about different kinds of people. We discussed often how different cultures are treated differently in a lot of situations. I think this class gives you a new perspective on different people around the world and I think this is a good thing to learn to be a teacher.

This ted talk is something I watched in one of my classes in high school that I really enjoyed. It changed my perspective on how I wanted to be as a teacher. It taught me you are there for the kids and being a good teacher is not just your kids passing a test. I think anyone who wants to be a teacher should watch this. I definitely found it very motivating and would find it as something to watch if maybe I had a rough day at work.

I found this page about a month ago and followed it because I found it very informational. They post a lot of news stories on unfair things going on in the school system asking what you think of them and what you would do about it. It keeps you updated with new things going on in the education world throughout the us. The talk about kindergarten all the way to college. I think it is a great source to keep up on things going on that could help you learn how to help your classroom.

This was an assignment I completed in introduction to education. We had to design what our classroom would look like if we had one. We were required to include many things that you need in a real classroom. After we did this, we had to explain how the spacing and set up can benefit students. We also had to writing our teaching philosophy which I think is something everyone should do who is interested in being a teacher. It is important to know what yours is and to be able to understand it. I think this assignment really helped me grow and motivated me to be a teacher even more.

Mr.Elmore was my steam teacher in 6th and 7th grade somehow I got that lucky. He was a very special teacher to me as he took the time to get to me and actually help me to find out why I was struggling with math so much through out my whole childhood. He was a amazing teacher who made me want to wake up early go to school and get my homework done. He is the first teacher I had that made me want to become a teacher. He made me want to make students feel the way he made me feel. Excited about learning motivated and to want to give children inspiration to have fun and learn everyday. He had a new take on projects and would have us make songs or a dance. If we wanted to try something new he would let us and if we were nervous he was always full of encouragement. I hope to be a Mr.Elmore to many students one day.

This is a course I am currently taking right now that I absolutely love. It is all on accepting children for their differences and learning about them. How to teaching children with special needs, learning disabilites, and physical deformities. I have really enjoyed learning about this so much and if you are thinking about becoming a teaching it is a course I recommend. It has convinced me to get a minor in special education and I have even thought about being a special ed teacher as I have enjoyed it so much. Of course it may not be for everyone but I think it is important as a teacher to learn about all kinds of children.

This ted talk I found very great. It shows you some great ideas and methods on how to engage students. Things have changed a lot and as more times go by more things will change. By the time I am a teacher schools will not be the same as they were when I was a student. It is also very important to think of what students like and want as well which he talks about as well.

Ms.Newman was my Ap psych teacher my sophmore year. I had taken sociology earlier with her in the year and had really enjoyed the class. After taking this course she had suggest that I take her AP psychology class the next term. I then signed up and enjoyed it very much. This class gave me a whole new insight into people and children. Having wanted to be a teacher for so long taking this class gave me a in depth look into children's minds. I got to learn how they worked why they act out sometimes or do things we adults may not understand. I guess one of the most important things to me in me education into becoming a teacher is learning to understand my students so that I can teach them in the best way possible.
