People: The damage in civilian population was very horrible, leaving 3-4 million casualties is civilians.
Economy: The industry was hugely affected, and was destroyed. North Korea felled into huge poverty, and the difference between South Korean became prominent.

In US...
They were able to protect half of Korea from the spread of communism.
Also, this led US to have more budget in rearmament. Moreover, it started to rebuild Japan.

In Soviet Union...
The tension between China increased because they were arguing on the payment of the war.
