Alexandre Cabanel
Alexandre Cabanel was a very talented French painter, who was already showing his talent and impressing others at a very early age.
He was a student of François-Édouard Picot at the École des Beaux-Arts, where he won a second medal at the Salon de Rome in 1845 and resided for five years at the Villa Médicis.
He was an art teacher who inspired many of his students, but sadly died on January 23, 1889.

Alexandre Cabanel was a very talented French painter, who was already showing his talent and impressing others at a very early age.
He was a student of François-Édouard Picot at the École des Beaux-Arts, where he won a second medal at the Salon de Rome in one thousand eight hundred forty-five and resided for five years at the Villa Médicis.
He was an art teacher who inspired many of his students, but sadly died on January twenty-three, one thousand eight hundred eighty-nine.
His last work was Cleopatra testing poisons on those condemned to death.
A curious fact is that this artist made a work of art called "The Fallen Angel".
This painting is very striking and creates a lot of controversy, as many say that it was painted in inspiration to Lucifer or as it is better known "The Devil".
Personally, I love this painting, as it shows a man crying because of the rage he keeps, but if we see it in detail, we can find millions of emotions and hidden messages.
