As I was putting together my padlet, I used images from the past and not as many from the present, as I do not take many pictures due to health issues. I see many people my age on social media, healthy, outgoing, and traveling the world. At times this makes me somewhat envious, but I hope I will be able to do all of those things in the future. Everyone sees me physically and compliments me but does not know of the inter struggle I deal with on a daily basis. I hear how I do not look my age, I have a beautiful skin tone, my hair is gorgeous while all the while I just want to crawl in a corner and cry. I am trying to make myself believe that I am more than my illness. My padlet explains a lot about who I am deep down even though I do not feel like that right now. I am an introvert, love spending time at home with my husband, daughter and dog instead of going out, love traveling to see my son who lives out of town, love reading various genres of books and watching movies, and I get my motivation from Christian music.
