Hollis went to many houses while in foster care, but she just never felt like she fit in. After going from house to house over the years she finally found a place she felt loved and wanted. After a good amount of time she started to feel like she was the problem, when the old man and Steven would fight over everything. Hollis feels like every bad thing is her fault, but Izzy reminds her it isn't, there just for a second hollis doesn't feel as bad. Hollis is taken away from the old man, Steven and Izzy, but to another place she feels loved. She went through many ups and downs but in the end she realized she had found places she belonged.

This relates to the theme by proving that you always have a place just for you, that you feel loved and wanted. The Regans helped her in many ways, finding out the truth, she found out what it means to be in a real family and much more. Im saying all this because it shows that they cared about Hollis

Isn't that kinda covenant, wasn't she never wanting to see them again because she didn't think she was wanted and loved. Hollis also tells us about her having a mother, father, brother, and two sisters. She loves them so much she doesn't need to add all that extra stuff before their name they play one role that stands out the most. A role every kid will be in some day, they need to watch someone in that  role as if they are the most important things ever. As a parent you are a kids role model they might not tell everyone that you are but trust they have looked up to you and probably always will. Hollis has never felt so much loved and wanted to be with someone so much as the Regans. Hollis really feels like that family is hers and she has been wanting to feel like that for so long and she finally does.
