Have you ever watched Star Wars and wondered if some of the “syfy” inventions in this famous story are real? Wel, many have, including me, specifically the bionic hand Anakin and Luke Skywalker recieved after their original hands were severed from a lightsaber. Prostetics and Neuroscience have advanced drastically in recent years, but I have not seen a prostetic with the same mobility and conncetion to our nerves as our biological hands. In Star Wars, we see these prostetics that are not only able to read neuron pathways and communicate it to the hand but do so in fast, effiecient speeds.
