Like she throws shoes at me she hits me with sandals. Something that i like about the book is that the kid still feels bad for his mom. I think every kid no matter what they go through with their parents they will still have empathy for them. He feels as if his mom cant do nothing to him.She does not abuse dave when he is in the house. i also like how the police saved dave from abuse.
