I just put them first and went off of that.

Also, I introduced every quote using the word "saying" or "says" and  I didn't explain my quotes very well.
I think the rest of my essay was decent. I tried to use fancy words in my essay too. 
I think it was most difficult to use the quote in my own sentence. :)))
