The sustainable product that I chose are pilot's B2P gel ink pens and ballpoint pens. They were initially made because, the Pilot Corporation of America did a survey and confirmed that the primary source of water for the majority of Americans is in fact by bottled water. Which gave them the idea to recycle bottled water and turn them into functional pens. The B2P pens are the first ever pend made from recycled plastic bottles  and they are made from 83% - 89% of recycle plastic bottles, also having a unique inspired plastic bottle barrel roll design. On top of that they are 100% refillable, meaning you don't have to throw it out when the ink is finished and instead just refill it.

The shoes are made of recycled plastic bottles from the ocean which are collected by people then made into shoes by Adidas. This campaign was started in 2015 when Adidas partnered with Parley to turn marine pollution into sportswear. Adidas is developing a 100% recyclable shoe called the "futurecraft loop", which is planned to be available this year.

AllBirds wants to flip the script with its new Sweetfoam flip-flop, a sandal made from sugar cane. That material is carbon-negative, which means that it actually takes carbon out of the atmosphere rather than emitting it. AllBirds plans to soon use Sweetfoam in other footwear as well.

The handles are made of plastics that can be injected into molds. The most common plastics used are polypropylene and polyethylene.

In most commercially produced toothbrushes, the bristles are made of nylon. Nylon is a synthetic fiber (the first ever invented, actually) that is strong and flexible. It doesn’t degrade or break down in water or with the types of ingredients usually found in toothpaste.

Bamboo is a biodegradable product, so a bamboo toothbrush handle is better for the environment when compared to plastic, non-biodegradable ones. If you use a toothbrush with boar bristles, or remove the nylon bristles first, then you can compost your bamboo toothbrush when you're finished with it.

Many online stores located in Indonesia sell these specific toothbrushes, shops like Ecobabes on instagram and goaycer.

Disposing of a bamboo toothbrush isn't a difficult challenge, 
Cut the head of the bamboo toothbrush using a pair of garden secateur. Dispose of the head of the toothbrush in the garbage bin. Dispose of the handle of the toothbrush in the green(garden waste) bin. Alternatively, place the handle of the toothbrush in a compost bin as the bamboo is biodegradable and compostable.
