It looks like an horror because of the low angle of the character and his face is covered which creates a mystery.

The film wasn't successful in the finance plan because the budge was low in all opening weekend the producer didn't investigated a lot of money to make the film also because it was an independent film and it didn't followed many typically mainstream conventions.
