The death penalty also known as capital punishment continues to be an issue of controversy for many years. It seems that public opinion on the death penalty has changed over the year and is still changing, but there are still other people who believe that the death penalty is a good punishment and will continue to believe. Upon reading the story I can see two perspectives with regards of viewing death penalty. The side that agrees to it as a punishment for the criminals and the other side who opposes to this view. The controversy of Death Penalty has been a great debate since then and still continues to be an issue until today. In my own perspective I strongly disagree with the idea of death penalty. Here are the reasons of my viewpoint regarding this issue.
           First, does death penalty deter crime, especially murder? The answer is no, there is no such cridible evidence that the death penalty deters crime more effectively than long terms of imprisonment.Death penalty laws falsely convince the public that government has taken effective measures to combat crime and homicide. In reality, such laws do nothing to protect us or our communities from the acts of dangerous criminals. There are also instances that innocent people can also be drag in this.
Second, do the murderers deserve to die? No, no one deserves to die. If the government would address vengeance as an act to meet justice, then it would certainly send the criminals the view of devaluing life and human dignity. Still it would not create a change for this people to stop doing crimes. 
Lastly, the idea of death penalty oppose to my belief as a Christian. I do believe that we are all sinners and we are not titled to judge the sins of others. Only our mighty Father alone who have the right to judge our deeds here on earth. 
       Thus, the story is worthy to read. Upon knowing what happened in the past, we can certainly reflect to it and we can apply it into our present lives.

In today’s world crimes are being committed daily. The death penalty is the maximum sentence that is used in punishing people who have committed serious crimes, like murder and rape and is a very controversial method of punishment.

Criminals that are convicted of murder or rape have to be executed through the death penalty because they are a danger to society. It is a legal infliction and is used to punish a variety of offences. Traditional methods of death penalty involved torturous deaths of the culprits through methods of boiling to death, burring alive, through garrots and keelhauling.

Modern methods of execution are painless, carried out through hanging, lethal injection or shooting. The criminals are sentenced to death, keeping in mind the rights of the culprit as well as the victim.

The world has become so cruel that the only way to stop brutal crimes is by the death of the criminals.

Giving a killer the death sentence will stop them - and others - doing it again
The very small chance of executing the wrong person is balanced by the benefits to society of putting off other murderers
Arguments against the death penalty
The death penalty goes against our most basic human right - the right to life
Being killed by lethal injection or being electrocuted is not always smooth and painless, sometimes it causes a painful death
No-one has ever proven with numbers that killing murderers stops other people committing similar crimes
Mistakes are sometimes made in the law - what if someone is killed who is actually innocent?

However, I believe that for those people who have been committed to this case is they realize that they had their mistakes and that makes them enable to change. In the sense that we have God it might be chaotic in the first thing that we experience in life but for I know He still guide and protect us.  I didn’t agree with this Death penalty but still we don’t have the right to desire that they must be die because it has a chance for them to change.

The death penalty is touchy subject for me, and I don't think it's a good idea. AS I've have learned more about those crimes and awful events, I've noticed and encountered many people who wish to see those defied the law and did so much sin to put to death. I'm not saying this to defend those criminals,I'm saying it because I believe in God's word.   We know that, together , we can end the death penalty everywhere. Every day, people are executed and sentenced to death by the state as punishment for a variety of crimes – sometimes for acts that should not be criminalized. In some countries, it can be for drug-related offences, in others it is reserved for terrorism-related acts and murder. On the other hand, the death penalty is the ultimate cruel, inhuman and degrading punishment. 
    
    As for me death penalty is not good at all because I believe that everyone deserves a second chance. I think many people are on death row and in our prisons because they never got any chances. Also, the death penalty doesn't seem to recognized that guilty people have the possibility to change, and it rejects their chance to ever rejoin and contribute to society.  

  All in all, the death penalty is inhumane. Killing people makes us like murderers that most of us despise. No imperfect system should have the right to decide who lives and who dies. The government is made up of imperfect humans, who make mistakes. ENCOUNTER by: ZELDA SORIANO

CHARACTERS:
Gina - a revolutionist and Mother of Ineng
Pablo - a revolutionist and Father of Ineng
Ineng - daughter of Oablo abd Gina

SETTING:
In the mountain where the revolutionary stay and in the hut where Ineng was wrting.

THEME:
Revolutionary- about the people who fights to change the system of the government.

POINT OF VIEW:
Third Person - The author is not one of the characters in the story.

CONFLICT:
Pablo found himself facing his daughter at the table, he could not look the child in the eyes. he was full of misgiving.

Moral Lesson: It shows for being a loyal woman warrior that is best in the revolutionary struggles. Also obeying our parents because everything they have sacrifice is for us just to be a good example to others and have a better life.
