         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Selective Service or the draft started on September 16, 1940. All men within the ages of 21 to 45 were required to register for the draft. Men who got drafted were forced to serve at least one year in the armed forces. In 1945 the war ended and over 50 million men had been registered for the draft.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>With the draft in 1940 millions of men were took out of work and put in the war. This is when all the Women stepped up and started taking the place of all the men. Without the Women we could of losted the war. They helped us make stuff to use in war and everything else.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Minorities served in the US armed forces in World War II. In the draft all people were equal so anyone could get drafted at the same rate. All of the Minorities were given the same rate of pay and were released from military service in 1945.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>During World War II many Women starting working a lot and over 20%  of women were industrial workers. Women working in industiral would help build tanks and other stuff for people to use in World War II. Without women in the Industrial we wouldn't have as many tanks or anything and that would of hurt us a lot.</div>]]></description>

During the War they wouldn't have enough food  and other supplies so they would have to use the least amout that they could use. It didn't matter if they barley had any japanese in them they would still go to the camp. They would help make stuff for the War. Over 120,000 Japanese were sent to camps.</div>]]></description>
