As one of the largest energy consumers in the world, the USA has a very high demand of energy coming from fossil fuels and their reserve is not enough for which they have to import oil from other countries. That is why, during the last 40 years, they have implemented many policies and changes on their energy production strategies, in order to stop depending on other countries to cover their needs of energy. In order to do so, they increased their natural gas consumptions as well as other resources that are already available in the country, looking for more viable alternatives such as green energy.

The current president of the United States Joe Biden has an ambitious and unprecedented plan in the fight for the climate, while Trump was betting and investing large amounts of money in the fossil fuel industry.
