Famous Photography Project

I learned a lot about the famous Photographer Diane Arbus. I learned that everyone has their own style and that Diane’s style is black and white and typically has 2 or more people in the photos. Also she doesn’t have people ever smiling at the camera. Photography and different photographers can have all different kinds of styles and techniques.

Every 20 Steps

During this project I learned a lot about angles and how much a different angle can effect your photo. Any different angle can make a simple object look cool and non-ordinary. The .5 angle also makes this photo more interesting because it can show more around the car and the setting.

Leading Lines

During this project I learned how all different kinds of things can be exampled as leading lines. For example a railing or trees and more. This project went good for me because there are so many things that are leading lines.

3D Form Photo

During this project I learned that shadows have a big impact on a picture. It was hard to find the right angle to make it 3D, but once you did it made the picture better. I also learned that smaller things have better 3D effect. It was more difficult than the other projects, but it was super fun.

Texture Man-Made

During this project I learned that there are lots of objects that example texture. Including tires or could be things that have rusted over. I also learned that at some angles the the texture can look more dramatic.

Texture In Nature

During this project I learned that it is very easy to find texture in nature. Lots of things portray texture. This project was easier than the man-made one because almost anywhere you go outside you can find texture.

Best Color In Photography

This project was really fun. I liked taking pictures of the changing leaves. All of the pictures turned out really pretty because of all the cool and different colors. I learned the there are lots of colors everywhere. Some are similar and some pop out more.

Bird's Eye Perspective Photo

This project was pretty easy because I take .5 pictures all the time. I learned that it works better for your phone to be higher than the subject of your photo. I liked this project and thought it was really fun. The collage also was easy to do and helped me learn more tools on photoshop.

Pop Art

During this project I learned how to edit a lot with color. This assignment was pretty easy and fun. I thought the photoshop editing looked really cool and would like to something like it again. Overall I liked this project.

Hockney Joiner

I learned that David Hockney has a very unique way of painting and photography. I think his style of work is cool and fun to look at, but I personally did not like editing it because I thought it was very difficult to find where to put the pictures. It was also more difficult because I was gone for 2 days. I do think this should be taught to future classes because this one is more different than the normal ones we do and it is fun to see how different photography can be.

Fantasy World

I liked this project but it was really hard to make everything the same color and blend all together well. It was fun to do though. I learned a lot about the photoshop tools and how to make things blend together. I like how we had a lot of freedom to create our own world.

DIY Week

During this Diy project I learned how to merge a lot of pictures together and how to use the brush tool and the object selection tool. My favorite skill was brush tool. Double exposure was very easy to do because all I had to do was figure out where I wanted the trees to cover. It was also my favorite DIY.

Reflection

During this class I learned a lot. For example I learned how to use photoshop and actually edit better than I would have at the beginning of the year. I also learned a lot about how to make an ordinary object look really cool by just taking a photo at a different angle than you normally see. This class was really fun and taught me a lot about how to take a photo and make it look cool. My favorite project is DIY week because we had a lot of freedom to experiment photoshop on our own.
